a terminal line is supposed to be a temporary loss of smoothness within a single surface. the pavilion designed her is far from smooth but still reflect this notion of a terminal line that goes through the center of this pavilion. the terminal line is created by an inconsistency, an irregularity in the pattern that the surface of this pavilion. The terminal line is further exaggerated by the center, wire-frame structure. this part of the pavilion acts as an extension to Cathedral street for pedestrians which links Dowling and McElhone street.
